Open House is an invitation. You see, I did not grow up in the church. I received an invitation. After giving my life to Christ, it's my turn to extend an invitation. So I thought about how to do it using the musical gifts God gave me. But I'm not Kirk Franklin. Can't lead a choir. And I'm not Lecrae. Can't really rap that well (anymore).

But...I do make electronica. And I make beats. So I thought, what if I re-imagined some of my favourite gospel music (the music, not the message) in a way that sounds cool to me? Like the stuff I enjoy listening to? With synths and 808s and lasers and chopped up vocals and everything a teenagers' mom isn't trying to hear blasting at 10pm? And maybe someone who likes the same stuff I like might like it too. And maybe, just maybe, that person might be able to receive and appreciate the spirit in which the music was created.

Well I made it. And if one person can appreciate the fact that the music I made was inspired by God, and crafted using the gifts that God gave me, and would be willing to give Him a shot...I'd be happy. This is an open house. All are welcome.
